Chris started playing golf at just 5 years of age under the eye of his father, Kevin Rushton who is a keen golfer and Past Captain of Ashton Lea Golf Club. 

Chris ventured to America between the years of 2017 to 2020 where he attended Golf University in Kansas and represented the golf team. 
 

In 2020 Chris returned  to the UK and started his PGA Training  based at Bolton Golf Club. three years later he realised his dream of becoming a PGA Golf Professional.  

Chris joins us as PGA teaching professional with a keen focus on promoting new to golf, group golf classes for all abilities, individual lessons and both he and Sean will drive junior participation as we aim to take golf into schools and grow the wonderful game. 

Chris enjoys working in the pro shop, coaching and custom fitting. His very pleasant personality and calm manner make him an ideal person to help golfers get the most from their game.
