Some comments & feedback we've received recently . . .

I would like to provide some feedback regarding my recent experience at Preston GC.
I had purchased a 4-ball voucher at a Charity event and hoped the course would be worthy of the donation.
I need not have worried, from the outset Andrew was very accommodating in rearranging my initial tee time to another due to inclement weather and then - what more can i say about the course.
Absolutely terrific condition from start to finish!
A real joy to play so much so i had to relay to you my appreciation.
Thanks for a great day.

GOLF REVIEWS

I just want to log with you my gratitude on behalf of myself and my colleagues following our recent visit. I have played before as my son is a member so knew what to expect. My colleagues had nothing but praise for the course the facilities, but most importantly the warmth of the welcome we received. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and friendly, special shout out to the bar manager who really went above and beyond.

Fantastic test of golf. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention for Shaun in Pro shop arrived without charging battery he very kindly charged it for me. Had cheese and onion pie with mash and mushy peas great. Can't wait to revisit. Would recommend to all levels of golfer...enjoy.

The course although hilly is excellent. We went yesterday 6/9/24 with our golf society (Victoria Golf Society) from Southport.
The food was one of the best experiences we have had this year in numerous golf courses along our coast and also north west of UK
The Beef Roast dinner was delicious all fresh veg and a sizeable homemade Yorkshire pudding, very generous portions and piping hot too! Offered more if required and the apple pudding with custard was obviously homemade too. Can’t fault any of it the lady chef was great too.

Came with Fleetwood Seniors team to play in July. The best presented course I've seen in a long time, excellent. A good challenge, quite a hard walk dragging a trolley (my fault) use electric! I would want to play there if I was a Preston resident such is the variety of holes and 1st class condition. Clubhouse staff, service and food very good indeed.

Great day out, looking forward to our next match.

A very big thanks to you both for making the day perfect, it all went as planned the Breakfast ,  Half Way Hut and Buffet got rave reviews from our guests.

The Course was immaculate and Tee Times allowed everyone to play without pressure.

Northern Counties Seniors Championship, May 2024

On behalf of the Northern Counties Veterans Ladies Golf Association I am writing to thank you for such an enjoyable and successful week at Preston Golf Club on the occasion of the Northern Seniors Championship.

I was delighted when I heard that Preston had agreed to host this championship as I thought it was a fantastic venue.

Throughout the planning meetings and at the championship itself, everyone has been so welcoming and supportive.

English Seniors Women’s Championship, June 2023

I’m writing to express my thanks for your excellent hosting of the Senior Women’s Championship recently. I have spoken with many of the players and they all very much enjoyed the golf course and the warm welcome that was extended to them by the club and all its volunteers. “A warm Lancashire welcome” was indeed what we experienced, as it promises on your website.

The ground staff did an amazing job to improve the course over the duration of the championship. It was rather dry when I first arrived!

My husband and I enjoyed our time at your golf club ( even though I didn’t play that well).

We had the most amazing day celebrating our Son Anthony and Agata’s wedding day. Nikki ensured the day was a very special one. Massive thank you to Nikki she went over and above from sorting the room layout and to providing the most amazing food and making it a seamless day which was so well organised. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Nikki also organised a golf buggy for photos. Thank you to Stuart and the staff for their high level of service.

My wife and I had our wedding at PGC at the weekend and we had the most incredible experience. We had our renewal of vows at the venue on the 22nd June to celebrate 30 years of marriage. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff were amazing and the food was outstanding.
